Snow Lake Resources Ltd.

Is a private Canadian company focused exclusively on the exploration and development of lithium resources in Canada.

Who We Are

Snow Lake Resources Ltd. is a privately owned Canadian mineral exploration company.  The company’s primary asset is the Thompson Brothers lithium deposit located in central Manitoba, Canada.  The deposit is situated in a pro-mining district with well-developed local infrastructure.
Directors, Management and Insiders own 90%+ of the outstanding shares.   Our philosophy is to keep costs down, such that we make money if you make money.

Location is Fundamental

The Thompson Brothers Lithium Project is located 20 km east of Snow Lake, Manitoba in a mining friendly jurisdiction that has seen continuous production of base metals and gold since 1949.  The property includes 38 contiguous mining claims encompassing 56 km2 (5,596 hectares).  An existing powerline traverses the property and Arctic Gateways recently recommissioned Winnipeg – Churchill railway and siding is located 35 km to the south.   The company is actively exploring two lithium enriched pegmatite dyke clusters on its property.   HudBay currently operates nearby the Lalor mine and has milling and concentrating facilities in the Snow Lake district.

The Thompson Brothers lithium deposit represents only one of several lithium enriched pegmatite dyke clusters that occur on the property.   Recent drilling results have delivered consistent lithium grades, excellent widths and the deposit remains open along strike and to depth.  The deposit is amenable to ramp access and underground bulk mining methods.  A small open pit could be used to extract the crown pillar to the deposit.  The SG lithium pegmatite dyke cluster located 2.5 km west of the Thompson Brothers deposit includes three lithium pegmatite dykes.  The company is confident it can delineate additional resources within the SG pegmatite cluster that could provide additional incremental mill feed, there by extending potential mine life and increasing profitability.

A Fantastic Lithium Deposit

The Thompson Brothers lithium deposit has been drill tested over a 600 m strike length and to a vertical depth of 400 m.  In total, 24 drill holes (4,805 m) were cored (2016 – 2018).    In 2018, a “historical”, JORC compliant, inferred resource estimate of 6.3 Mt grading 1.38% Li2O was prepared for the deposit using a 0.6% Li2O reporting cut-off.   A 43-101 Technical Report summarizing the results of all work on the property was completed in July 2019.
The Thompson Brothers lithium deposit is tabular in form, averages 7.7 m true width and dips steeply.  Li2O grades within the deposit are remarkably consistent from contact to contact and drill hole to drill hole.   The lithogeochemistry of deposit is benign;  the mineralization is composed of quartz, feldspar, spodumene and micas.  Preliminary metallurgical test work has produced a spodumene concentrate grading 6.37 % Li2O.

The company has commissioned an updated resource estimate for the Thompson Brothers lithium deposit to be completed in accordance with NI 43-101; targeted for completion in the 4th Qtr 2019.  In 2020, Snow Lakes plans to implement an aggressive program of further definition and resource expansion drilling at Thompson Brothers.   An updated resource estimate and further technical studies will be completed in accordance with National Instrument 43-101.   Initial drilling testing of the SG lithium pegmatite dyke cluster will also be completed.   Snow Lake Resources is confident that its operations plan, once completed, will demonstrate the robust mine potential of the project and lead into Pre-Feasibility level studies.
