Louie Simens – Chairman & Non-Executive Director

Mr. Simens has almost a decade of experience in micro-cap equities and startup investing, has had extensive roles in corporate restructuring, due diligence, mergers & acquisitions. Mr. Simens has a successful track record spanning over a decade in owning and operating contracting businesses, both in civil and building construction. Building on his early business background, he has gained a unique knowledge of corporate governance and project management, including understanding the requirements of working within budgets, putting in place adequate strategies and exceeding the fulfilment of safety regulatory requirements.

Dale Schultz – Non-Executive Director & COO

Mr. Schultz’s career spans over 30 years. He is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a B.Sc. and M.Sc in Geoscience. Mr. Schultz’s Canadian geology career included time spent at the Echo Bay Lupin Mine, Claude Resources Seabee Mine, Battle Mountain Hemlo Camp, Battle Mountain Kori Kollo mine, and TVX New Britannia mine in Snow Lake Manitoba. Internationally, Mr. Schultz has provided geological consulting services in Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, Columbia, Peru, Paraguay, Honduras, Haiti, and Myanmar. In 2017, Mr Schultz relocated to the Town of Temagami Ontario, Canada where he now practices as an Independent Consulting Geologist.

Nachum Labkowski – Non-Executive Director

Mr. Labkowski is the CEO and principal investor in Halevi Enterprises, a private equity firm. Halevi Enterprises with, Mr. Labkowski’s leadership, currently holds equity in over 30 private companies, which invest in real estate worldwide. Mr. Labkowski’s unique approach to investing has provided significant returns to those companies he has invested in to date.

Derek Knight – VP Corporate Development

With over 15 years in construction, and a background in continuous improvement, cost efficiencies and project management. Derek believes in excellence through efficiency.  Over his career he has overseen millions of dollars in projects while holding varying roles in planning and leadership. Mr. Knight holds several professional trade licenses and has experience working in large industrial environments.  He is an accredited Private investor, and has held the role of Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Operations for an operating quarry.  Mr Knight has completed the Canadian Securities Course.

Brian Youngs – VP Exploration

Mr. Youngs’ career in the mineral exploration spans over 20 years and has operated as a Consultant and Field Manager with a number of publicly traded junior mining companies during that time. He spent 10 years as a senior airborne geophysics technician flying surveys throughout Canada and around the world on international assignments with Geotech Ltd. He also holds a board position with Gamet Gold and is the lead technical advisor to Temagami Gold Inc. (Progenitor Metals). Mr. Youngs is a graduate of Northern College – Haileybury School of Mines, Mining Engineering Technician program, and is a member of Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists.

Scott Davis, CPA, CGA – CFO

Mr. Davis is a partner of Cross Davis & Company LLP Chartered Professional Accountants, a firm focused on providing accounting and management services for publicly-listed companies.  His experience includes CFO positions of several companies listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange.  His past experience consists of senior management positions, including four years at Appleby as an Assistant Financial Controller, two years at Davidson & Company LLP Chartered Professional Accountants as an Auditor and five years with Pacific Opportunity Capital Ltd. as an Accounting Manager.

Christopher Gerteisen – Advisor

Mr Gerteisen’s work experience spans Greenfields from discovery through to production stage and other projects with a focus on commodities including gold and copper.  He worked as a geologist on the Carlin Trend in Nevada and on exploration in Alaska with Newmont.  He has held senior positions within several projects throughout the goldfields of Western Australia.

Mr. Gerteisen holds a Bachelor of Geology from the University of Idaho and a Masters Degree in Economic Geology from the Western Australia School of Mines.  He is a dual USA and Australia Citizen based in Alaska and a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.

Avi Kimelman – Advisor

Mr Kimelman has held senior positions in both local and overseas listed and private entities across a diverse range of investment disciplines with a reputation within the resource sectors for identifying valuable assets and projects around the globe, raising capital for these projects through his extensive investor network as well as successfully negotiating the related transactions.
